Fark'ed rocks

A link appeared recently on FARK.com which featured a few wonderful stone balancing images. A few I could recognize as those done by Bill Dan. As always the comments from fellow farkers (my account is DraXXXen) prove amusing and full of deep insight :)

Mystery of lakefront stone sculptures solved!

Wow!! Imagine my surprise when I found out from a few friends that I am featured on the front page of the Oakville Beaver newspaper (as well as another full page spread on the interior)! Thanks to everyone who expressed such an interest in this!

Click here for the article as it appears online, though I will have to hunt down a printed copy after work today.

Website launch

Hello, Looks like introductions are in order!

My name is Eddie Ruminski and I have been doing rock balancing for only a few months now and have enjoyed this hobby of mine mostly in private.

A few weeks back I decided to change my rock stacking location to a better area of the Oakville shore which would give me access to a much wider selection of stones. I spent but one evening and morning stacking at this new location at the south end of Trafalgar Road in Oakville and it seemed to generate alot of interest, so much so that this article was published in the local newspaper The Oakville Beaver! I am honored and most appreciative of all who have shown an interest in my hobby. Thank you all so very much.

Inspired by all the local support I am getting in Oakville regarding this rock balancing, I have put up a new website - stonearth.ca - which features a few of the recent stone art that I have put up at different locations throughout Oakville.
